The Minolta X-700, introduced in 1981, is a legendary 35mm film SLR that won the European "Camera of the Year" award. Highly regarded for its ease of use, excellent viewfinder, and versatile shooting modes, it remains one of the most popular and recommended cameras for film beginners today. The Minolta X-700 won the inaugural European "Camera of the Year" award from the European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) in 1981.
